Top 10 Tips For a More Confidence
It’s never too late to boost your self confidence! Here are our top 10 tips for improving your confidence and self esteem.

1.Be kind to yourself. Start listening to your self talk. What are you saying to yourself? All too often people are there own harshest critic and they miss all the wonderful things that they accomplish throughout the day. Start paying attention to your successes – however big or small and congratulate yourself on your achievements.
2. Stop frowning it gives you wrinkles! Did you know it only takes 17 muscles to smile and 43 muscles to produce a frown! Smiling completely transforms how you look and feel. Smiling is a guaranteed way to lift your spirits and also to life the spirits of those around you.
3. People are important. Enjoy engaging social interactions with like minded people who support you in the magnificent being that you truly are. Oprah Winfrey said something that I like, “Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher.”
4. Posture. You can create a positive self image by changing your posture. Make eye contact with people and smile, you’ll be amazed at how many people will smile back at you. Walk with your head up and back straight too.
5. Make an extensive list of ALL of your positive characteristics. Including all the things that you are good at, what do you enjoy about being you, all your positive traits, all your good points. Keep this list with you so you can read it anytime you need a reminder of who wonderful you really are.
6. Next, is to write down all your goals. What do you want to achieve? Write goals for all areas of life, including career, relationship, health and fitness, personal development, family and spirituality. 7. There’s something you need to know about the picture perfect images that you see in the glossy magazines. ALL the pictures have been photoshopped and changed! What you see in the media is not real – so stop comparing yourself to digitally enhanced images and enjoy you for being the beautiful you that you are. Even Cindy Crawford was quoted as saying,” Even I don't wake up looking like Cindy Crawford.”
8. Eat well. Having a balanced diet is important for providing the body with adequate energy and nutrients. A balanced diet consists of protein, carbohydrates, fats, fibre, vitamins, minerals and water. Combining a balanced diet and exercise is important for your general well being.
9. Take some exercise and get those endorphins flowing. Exercise produces endorphins that make you feel good. Participating in regular exercise can work the following wonders (30 minutes a day will do)
• Improve your emotional state, your self-esteem, also your energy levels, sleep, and your overall sense of well being.
• Assist you to manage your weight by burning calories.
• Exercise can also help in terms of reducing the risks of high blood pressure, cancer, depression, stress and anxiety.
• Improve bone density and bone strength.
• Build and tone muscles.
• Strengthen the heart: having a strong heart reduces the risk of heart disease and also decreases cholesterol levels.
10. Make a difference. What can you do to make a positive difference to somebody else’s life. By making this contribution to others, you will increase your self confidence. The more you contribute, the more you will be rewarded with personal success, achievement and recognition.
